Racing is the same game as trading, just with wind instead of tape: read the conditions, manage your risk, commit to the line, and stay disciplined when everything's moving at once. Crewing on a race team is its own discipline. It takes commitment, training, and trust in the people beside you, because when the wind is up, things happen as fast as a volatile market and everyone has a job to do. It's where I think clearest, and a decent reminder that the best operators stay calm in chop. Off the water it's pickleball, cycling, and running. Anything with a scoreboard or a clock.
